Professor Dr. Khaled Mostafa Malek

  • Professor of Information Technology, Helwan University.
  • Supervised and assessed several M.A. and Ph.D. dissertations at universities in Egypt and the Middle East.
  • Peer-reviewed a number of research papers published in conference proceedings and academic journals. 
  • Presented IT courses for senior graduate and postgraduate students at universities in Egypt and the Middle East, including in Oman and Saudi Arabia.
  • A team member of Helwan University’s partnership project between the university and peer-learning communities within the American University in Cairo, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, University of Northampton and University of Leicester in England, the Irish University of Limerick, and Martin Luther University in Germany.
  • Attended a number of courses and workshops at the University of Northampton and University of Leicester in England, and at the Irish University of Limerick, on building learning communities.
  • Active member in and co-founder of the Egyptian Society of Educational Technology, board member of the Egyptian Society for Information Systems and Computer Technology, and member of several other academic societies.
  • Has published several works, including research papers and articles on educational technology.
