Mr. Ayub Khan MBE
Director, Designing Libraries.
He served as Project Officer for the Library of Birmingham, one of the largest cultural building projects in Europe.
Ayub is Past President of Libraries Connected the Sector Support Organization for Public Libraries in England, Wales, North Ireland and the Crown dependencies in the UK.
He was on the Governing Board of International Library Federation Association (IFLA) between 2021 and 2023.
He is a Fellow & past President of CILIP - The Library and Information Association
Ms. Sue McKenzie
Director of McKenzie Consultancy and former Head of Culture and Libraries.
Sue McKenzie has extensive and diverse experience spanning over 25 years in the cultural sector, including libraries, archives, museums, arts development, festivals, and community engagement. During this time, she led the cultural transformation program for the London Borough of Brent, as well as the development of the new Wembley Library, which is considered one of the most active and successful libraries in the United Kingdom.
In 2019, Sue led the team that developed the strategy and operational model for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai. Sue has also led cultural projects in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Maja Maricevic
Director of Science and Innovation, British Library. (Green Libraries Partnership)
Dr Maja Maricevic is Director of Science and Innovation at the British Library. She is Interim Chair of London’s Knowledge Quarter and has been involved with the Knowledge Quarter development from its inception.
Maja chairs the Green Libraries Campaign, a nationwide partnership of UK libraries working towards a better future for planet and people.
She has previously worked in universities, government departments and as a professional consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
