Prof. Dr. Khaled Mohamed Fargoun​   ​​ 

  • Professor Emeritus of Educational and Information Technology at Capital University, Helwan (formerly Helwan University), Egypt.
  • Earned a Master’s degree in Educational Technology in Egypt, followed by a Master’s and PhD in Educational and Information Technology from the University of Köln, Germany. 
  • Served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Academic Affairs, then as Dean of the Faculty, and later as Head of the Department of Educational Technology until reaching retirement age.
  • Chair of the Teaching and Learning Committee at the National Council for Training and Education in Egypt; Vice President of the Egyptian Society for Curricula and Teaching Methods; and member of the Blended Learning Committee at the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.
  • Member of promotion review committees for professors and associate professors at the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities and several Arab universities.
  • Dr. Fargoun has authored 92 research papers and working papers in Arabic, German, and English, in addition to 8 published books in the fields of educational and information technology, photographic and television imaging, and animation.
