Overview

Library and information specialists not only are consumers of information but also play an important role in creating content. 
Journal articles are one form of content that contributes to enhancing practice, education and research. Do you want to publish your first journal article or improve your publishing output? The Naseej Academy and Mortenson Center for International Library Programs will present a 1.5-hour webinar for library and information specialists on getting a journal article published, with a focus on the experiences and guidelines of Library Trends. 

Objectives

  • ​Discuss why, when, what, where and how to publish.
  • Understand what makes a paper publishable.
  • Explore the journals market.
  • Introduce Library Trends as a source of journal publishing in the library and information field, and describe how it is produced.
