Naseej Academy and the IFLA Center for Arabic Speaking Libraries (IFLA–CASL) announce the Naseej Academy Grant to Attend the 2018 IFLA Annual Conference. Applications are invited from librarians and information specialists from the Arab world wishing to attend the World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) organized by the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA). This year’s conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 24–30.
Priority in awarding the grant will be given to applicants presenting paper(s) or playing some other active role during the conference. The winner will be decided jointly by Naseej Academy and IFLA–CASL.
The grant covers travel, accommodation and registration expenses for one person, up to the value of USD 2,000. The grant winner agrees to prepare a professional report documenting his participation in various activities at the conference, and describing how his participation will benefit his institution.
