  • Director of Medical Library and Lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB). 
  • The first woman to hold a PhD degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from AUB. 
  • A board member of Arab WAYS, the first country representative for Lebanon at HIFA, and a committee member at IFLA and AMICAL, all of which bodies aim to support, enable and implement open science and the SDGs.
  • Extensive teaching experience since 2007 and author of several research papers published in prominent peer-reviewed international journals. 
  • Speaker at several international conferences and workshops, with a special emphasis on open science, open society and SDGs.
