Overview

There has been a great deal of debate about whether virtual reality is the “Next Big Event”. Yet, there has been very little discussion of the legal considerations related to this technology, and of the implications of its increasing spread for owners of the associated intellectual property.

In this vein, in line with the strategic collaboration between Naseej Academy and the Education Sector of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Naseej Academy organized an online webinar entitled “Impact of Copyright and Intellectual Property on Library Services in the Virtual Age”

The objective of the Webinar is to provide an overview of how plagiarism and copyright rules impact librarians and library patrons in their daily work.
