Naseej Academy has successfully participated in the 3rd International Conference on E-Publishing (3rd ICEPUB 2017) under the theme: “Towards Modern Libraries: Quality and Accreditation”, held from July 25 – 27, 2017, at the University of Jordan Library, Jordan.
This year, the conference offered added-value to the library and IT industry across the Arab region.
The event put top on its agenda a number of key themes in e-publishing, IT and library, including:
- Accreditation and library quality assurance.
- Library knowledge discovery and data mining.
- Library social media analysis and computerization.
- Library innovation and knowledge management.
- Library digital searches.
- Library infrastructure.
Naseej Academy general supervisor Prof. Dr. Abdallah Metwally participated as a keynote speaker in the conference. Prof. Dr. Metwally also presented and moderated Naseej Academy's workshop titled "How to formulate and evaluate insights, missions and core values of academic libraries from a strategic perspective and in light of the international standards and practices". The workshop was attended by over 50 attendees from different Jordanian universities, particularly the event host, the University of Jordan Library.
