Naseej Academy Launches Webinar Entitled "Knowledge Management: Innovation in the Face of Disruption"

Knowledge and information underpin organizational success in the 21st century. However, knowledge management is not without its own challenges. Innovative systems and tools for managing knowledge must be created, and be easily accessible by the people who need them.

At the beginning of the year, the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) polled KM audiences about the technological and commercial changes affecting their organizations, and the measures they were taking to keep knowledge management at the forefront of their innovative endeavors.

The global crisis caused by COVID-19 is a unique challenge. With the situation changing from hour to hour, organizations are in urgent need of the latest information. To help equip organizations and KM professionals with the necessary tools to cope with the disruption to their operations, Naseej Academy is hosting a webinar entitled “Knowledge Management: Innovation in the Face of Disruption” to be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, 4:00–5:00 p.m., Makkah time (GMT+3).

The webinar will share highlights from APQC’s research, along with stories of how leading KM programs are navigating the current wave of digital, business and market disruptions.

The webinar is designed principally for:

  • Heads of government and private organizations, and academics in the GCC and MENA region
  • KM specialists interested in best-practice applications
  • The national vision realization office staff.
  • KM units within government and private organizations in the GCC and MENA region.

The webinar will be led by Ms. Cindy Hubert and Ms. Lauren Trees, who will discuss several topics related to knowledge management, including:
  • Adopting new technology
  • Responding to rapid change
  • KM’s role right now.
