Naseej Academy’s latest knowledge café, entitled "New and Creative Ways to Provide Financial Resources in Support of University Libraries", was held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Hotel Galleria by Elaf in Jeddah, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The event was part of a series of knowledge cafés organized by Naseej Academy with the aim of providing an open, interactive space for dialogue and discussion. The latest knowledge café was an opportunity to present a number of innovative ideas for providing the financial resources needed to support university libraries. The participants discussed the ideas presented, and assessed their practical application and potential effectiveness in addressing the economic pressures imposed on university libraries by the requirements of the National Transition Program 2020 and the vision of the Kingdom of 2030.

One of the success factors of the event was that; the main speaker was Prof. Dr. Hassan Awad M. Alsereihy, Professor of Information Science, Information Science Department, King Abdulaziz University.
