Conversational Leadership is a powerful, innovative tool that enables us to surmount those challenges and live and work together collaboratively and productively.
Conversational Leadership recognizes the extraordinary, but underutilized, power of face-to-face conversation, and of taking a conversational approach to living and working with others.
Naseej Academy has organized an online workshop to raise awareness of Conversational Leadership. The webinar, entitled “An Introduction to Conversational Leadership”, will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 4:00–5:00 p.m., Makkah time (UTC+3).
Participants will learn how to hold authentic conversations, both in person and online, and how to employ effective speaking methodologies to increase communication, understanding and collaboration, and improve their ability to respond to challenges.
The webinar will also discuss principles that support Conversational Leadership, such as:
- taking responsibility, leading and developing self-agency
- embracing complexity as a way to make sense of the world
- willingness to engage in conversation
The webinar will be led by Mr. David Gurteen, a renowned keynote speaker, writer, conversational facilitator and coach.
David Gurteen is an expert in Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning and Conversational Leadership. He is the founder of the Gurteen Knowledge Community – a global network of more than 22,000 people in over 160 countries. He has published the monthly Gurteen Knowledge Letter since 2000, and is the creator of the Gurteen Knowledge Café. Over the last 15 years, he has facilitated Knowledge Cafés in more than 30 countries.
